Should Democrats bring back the Vietnam era anti-war imagery, with folksinging gatherings and get-out-now rhetoric? I can understand wanting to express yourself that way if that’s what you feel, but you know it didn’t win elections back then. There were some intense events, like the Democratic Convention of 1968, but then Nixon got elected.

I don’t understand why the “Intelligent Design” proponents have their panties in such a twist. Personally I believe in intelligent design. I believe that there is a Creator and as far as we can tell He used certain processes to evolve life to how it is today. I don’t understand why the proponents of intelligent design think that intelligent design should be taught in school. Schools should teach the science and the scientific method. It doesn’t matter what hand guides the process–those are things kids should learn at home (or in private schools).
It looks like American Levi Leipheimer will win the Tour of Germany. A lot of the good competition isn’t in the race, but Jan Ullrich is there, so this will most likley be a good win for Leipheimer.
