		<description>I would not advocate a dramatic increase in research dollars as this is still subject to uninformed and corruptable politicians (assuming gov&#039;t research).  I think a far better approach would simply be to require companies/individuals to offset their carbon emissions either in part or in full with no consideration to product or industry.  Private enterprise would then have the motivation to find the most efficient means to stop global warming.  This would be the most fair and least arbitrary way to tackle the problem.</description>
